Local tips: Łobzów gives the same 5-minute ride to AGH as Czarna Wieś, with half the street noise. Błonia at sunset is a good place to unwind after the day.

Grzegórzki
Traffic noise along al. Powstania Warszawskiego and ul. Grzegórzecka; studios in new buildings can be tiny for the price; winter smog here is still at city-center levels.
Czyżyny
Evenings are quiet to a fault, and the cafe culture is thin. Concerts at Tauron Arena mean traffic jams and crowds a few times a month.
Podgórze
Construction on Zabłocie never stops: a view today, a crane tomorrow. Some blocks between the railway lines feel deserted at night; walk your exact route after dark before you sign.
